Good Government & Accountability

Racquel believes government should work for the people it serves. That means transparency, accountability, and listening to residents before decisions are made. As your County Legislator, Racquel will prioritize clear communication, responsible oversight of county agencies, and regular engagement with constituents so government is a partner, not a barrier.

Addressing Homelessness

Racquel will work with Albany County to continue to support housing-first solutions that prioritize stability and dignity. By coordinating county housing resources with mental health care and supportive services, she will advocate for long-term solutions that reduce reliance on emergency responses.

Mental Health Care

Racquel plans to partner with county agencies and service providers to strengthen access to mental health and substance use care. She will support county investments in early intervention, crisis response, and community-based services that help people get support before they reach a breaking point.

Public Safety

Racquel supports a public safety approach that is preventative, fair, and effective. Working with the county, she will advance strategies that reduce violence, support first responders, build trust, and invest in community-based prevention and crisis response.

Protecting Quality of Life

Racquel promises to work closely with county leadership to ensure responsive services that keep neighborhoods clean, safe, and livable. Her focus is on the everyday issues that matter to residents, from reliable services to neighborhood conditions that allow families, seniors, and small businesses to thrive.
